The MacLean family opened House of Subs with a simple goal: serve fresh, comforting food and create a welcoming local spot for the St. Catharines community.
Our Story.
On January 1, 2023, the MacLean family proudly opened the doors to their locally owned soup and sandwich shop in the heart of St. Catharines.
Located at 466 Merritt Street, House of Subs has been serving the community 7 days a week with fresh, satisfying subs, hearty homemade soups, house-made appetizers, loaded fries, and a famous Philly style cheesesteak.
With deep roots in the food industry and a shared passion for hospitality, Elisha and Eric MacLean set out to build more than just a sandwich shop. They built a family dream around quality, comfort, and community.
We’re proud to serve the people of St. Catharines and beyond, from familiar faces to first-time visitors. We’re grateful for every bit of support this community has shown us.
